Details of the Job/Internship
Votum is hiring a Legal Intern for a full-time or part-time role (remote/hybrid) in Noida for 2–3 months (extendable). The intern will support legal research, drafting, and product innovation in the legal-tech space, gaining practical exposure to technology-driven legal practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, judgments, and precedents.
- Assist in drafting contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents under supervision.
- Review documents for compliance, accuracy, and risk assessment.
- Prepare case studies and legal briefs demonstrating technology in practice.
- Collaborate on knowledge management projects, including summarizing judgments and curating precedents.
- Support business development activities, such as preparing pitch decks and proposals.
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, events, and webinars aimed at legal professionals.
Eligibility
- Current law student (3rd year or above in a 5-year course / final year in a 3-year course) or recent law graduate.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills (preferred but not mandatory).
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Interest in legal-tech, innovation in law, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
