Details of the Job/Internship

Votum is hiring a Legal Intern for a remote or hybrid internship based in Noida. This is a full-time or part-time role with a duration of 2–3 months, extendable. The intern will support legal research, drafting, and product innovation in the legal-tech space, gaining exposure to how technology is reshaping the legal profession.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting legal research on statutes, judgments, and precedents to support product development and client queries.
• Assisting in drafting contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal documents under supervision.
• Reviewing internal and external documents for compliance, accuracy, and risk assessment.
• Preparing case studies and legal briefs showcasing the use of technology in practice.
• Collaborating on knowledge management projects such as summarizing judgments, curating precedents, and annotating cases.
• Supporting business development activities including preparing pitch decks and proposals.
• Contributing ideas for campaigns, events, and webinars aimed at legal professionals.

Eligibility

• Current law student (3rd year or above in a 5-year course / final year in a 3-year course) or recent law graduate.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills (preferred but not mandatory).
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Interest in legal-tech, innovation in law, and emerging technologies.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
