Details of the Job/Internship

Voya India is inviting law students to intern with them at their office located in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• The Trainee Intern is expected to possess relevant Basic Legal research and drafting skills. Voya expects him/her to get trained to the Voya Processes and procedures, conform to the industry standards, and acquire Domain expertise during his / her tenure at Voya. 
• Assist with basic drafting of contracts, letters, and legal documents as required by Voya.
• Expected to have good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Should have a keen eye for attention to detail to conduct due diligence of legal documents. 
• Should be able to conduct legal research, prepare legal memoranda, assist the legal team, and prepare daily tracking activities on behalf of the legal team. 
• Willingness to learn contract management process including defined drafting, redlining, and negotiation of contracts.
• Recordkeeping of all legal documents.
• Provide legal support to various areas of the Company in preparation and provision of legal documentation and handle paperwork, as required.

Eligibility

• Any relevant law college degree with at least 3 months of Internship experience.
• Good Knowledge of Company and Contracts law.
• Willing to participate in a corporate setup. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient in the use of common business applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and Teams.
• High level of competency with recordkeeping.
