Details of the Job/Internship
Banijay Asia is hiring a Legal Intern with an interest in entertainment law to join their office in Andheri, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the drafting and reviewing of various industry-specific agreements, including artist, writer, director, location, and vendor contracts.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on media, intellectual property (IP), and general entertainment laws.
- Provide support during contract negotiations and the subsequent documentation process.
- Maintain and update contract trackers to ensure all legal records are organized and accessible.
- Support the legal team in structuring content through rigorous drafting and review cycles
Eligibility
- Students currently in the 2nd year of a 3-year law course.
- Students currently in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of a 5-year integrated law course.
- Strong interest in media and entertainment law.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for legal drafting.
- Ability to commit to a 6-month internship duration in Mumbai.
