eStatus Official is hiring a Legal Intern to support its team across research, drafting, and litigation-related tasks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Supporting the team, including research projects and assisting with discovery and litigation analysis.
• Privacy and regulatory legal research and project management.
• Assistance with contract negotiation and drafting agreements.
• Contract review and summaries.
• Updating agreement templates and identifying process improvements.
• Working with the supervisor to provide advice to client contacts on legal issues.
• Legal writing and research.
• Litigation support.
• Assisting with organizing and storing patent acquisition materials and processing system audits.
• Legal research and memos.
• Developing and tracking metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Eligibility

• Intellectual property.
• Corporate governance.
• Brand communications.
• Contract law.
• A positive mindset and willingness to participate in meetings and negotiations.
• Interest in the distribution business and in developing a business-focused legal approach.
• Detail oriented.
• Graduate or Postgraduate from a law college is a plus.
• Externship or academic credit may be facilitated.
• Good interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and organisational skills.
• Proven flexibility, initiative, and self-reliance.
