Details of the Job/Internship
Hoichoi is looking for a candidate for the position of legal intern to join their team for a long-term internship.
Role and Responsibilities
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research using platforms like Manupatra, SCCOnline, and other relevant sources to support casework and legal matters.
- Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents: Assist in drafting and reviewing various legal documents with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including organizing and maintaining legal records, managing case files, and ensuring smooth documentation processes.
Eligibility
- Law students (in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year law course, or the 2nd year or above of a 3-year law course) and recent graduates from the 2025 batch. Candidates based in Kolkata or from local law colleges will be preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including MS Office and MS Excel.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research, using platforms such as Manupatra, SCCOnline, etc.
- Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
