Legal Draftsmen is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and filing critical legal documents, including sale deeds, gift deeds, and lease agreements.
- Conduct exhaustive legal research on issues pertaining to the Transfer of Property Act and Hindu Succession Act.
- Support legal consultants during client discussions and provide administrative backup for documentation.
- Perform meticulous document vetting and due diligence for property transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of legal opinions related to property titles and inheritance claims.
- Manage and organize case files and statutory documentation for various property-related assignments.
- Participate in hands-on mentorship sessions to refine legal drafting and consulting skills.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a degree in Law (LLB).
- Familiarity with the Transfer of Property Act, Hindu Succession Act, and associated legal processes.
- Basic skills in preparing legal documents, such as contracts, deeds, and agreements.
- Proficiency in legal consulting support and the ability to assist in client discussions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship experience or exposure to property law is considered a significant advantage.
