Details of the Job/Internship
Sahas Legal Services is hiring a Legal Intern to join their office in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft various documents, including policies, contracts, and compliance reports.
- Assist in court-related work, such as drafting compliance checklists and legal notices.
- Support senior professionals in attending hearings and managing case follow-ups.
- Engage in third-party legal compliance audits and assist in creating compliance frameworks.
- Perform research in specialized fields, including taxation and corporate governance.
- Assist in documentation and administrative tasks related to regulatory affairs.
- Contribute to the development of legal advisory reports for various stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Law students (Third-year BA.LLB or Second-year LLB students and above).
- Must possess a personal laptop for work-related tasks.
- Preference for candidates based in or near Navi Mumbai.
- Strong interest in taxation, corporate governance, and litigation.
- Commitment to a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
- Excellent research and legal drafting skills.
