Details of the Job/Internship
S.B. Jain & Associates is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern (Litigation & Corporate Law) for their New Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
Litigation:
- Assist in drafting legal pleadings, notices, replies, and legal opinions.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis.
- Attend court hearings, client briefings, and proceedings (where applicable).
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and cause lists.
Corporate Law:
- Support in drafting and reviewing contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Assist in compliance-related matters under the Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, etc.
- Research corporate legal issues and regulatory updates.
- Aid in due diligence, transaction support, and internal documentation.
Eligibility
- 4th and 5th-year students of a 5-year integrated law program.
- 3rd-year students of a 3-year LL.B. program.
- Strong research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal databases such as Manupatra and SCC.
- Professionalism and punctuality are a must.
