Details of the Job/Internship

Seviora is inviting law students to join their office in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance in legal and compliance-related tasks, including research, drafting legal advice and presenting findings on various topics; and
• Work closely with the subject matter experts in investments, strategy, operations, legal and compliance, finance and IT to understand business processes and operations.
• Gain general knowledge of the investment and asset management landscape in Singapore and the Asia Pacific;
• Acquire an understanding of the process of fundraising and portfolio investments; and
• Have a broad appreciation of the legal and regulatory framework and environment governing asset management in Singapore and other jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
• Mergers and Acquisitions law modules are preferred, although not mandatory.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (3rd year onwards) with completion of Company Law/Corporate Law modules, with particular interest in the investment and financial industry.
