ZecaTech is inviting law students to join their office Online.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on various issues and cases.
- Draft legal documents, including memos and briefs.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation and strategy.
- Review and summarize case files and legal documents.
- Help organize and maintain case files and documentation.
- Attend meetings and take notes during legal discussions.
- Assist in preparing exhibits and materials for court filings.
- Engage in fact-checking and ensuring the accuracy of legal references.
- Compile evidence from legal research for cases.
- Support the legal team in compliance and regulatory matters.
- Participate in client interactions (under supervision).
- Assist with the preparation of discovery documents.
- Monitor and summarize changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of internal legal databases.
- Collaborate with team members on assigned projects.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in a law school or a recent graduate.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) is a plus.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently and in a team.
- Basic understanding of court systems and procedures.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to adapt to a remote working environment.
- Availability to work a minimum number of hours per week.
- Passion for pursuing a career in law.
