iTCart is hiring for the position of Legal & IP Operations Executive with 6-10 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

Patent & IP Protection

• Liaise with IPExcel and global counsel to file, track, and enforce patents (India, PCT, USPTO, EPO).
• Maintain inventor disclosures, diagrams, claim updates, and filings in audit-ready format.
• Prepare IP defenses against prior art and infringement risks.

Contracts & Legal Operations

• Draft, review, and enforce NDAs, MSAs, partnership contracts, and investor terms.
• Maintain a secure repository of agreements across clients, partners, and contractors.
• Flag and fix legal gaps or misaligned clauses that could harm defensibility.

Litigation & Legal Research

• Support active disputes, competitor tracking, and evidence compilation.
• Prepare briefs and summaries in collaboration with Founder and external counsel.

Investor-Ready Legal Enablement

• Build a “Legal Evidence Room” with:
• Patent filings & enforcement logs.
• Compliance trackers.
• Cap table, ESOP, and employment agreement alignment.
• Support diligence, board briefings, and pitch deck legal sections.

Legal Risk Governance

• Draft internal IP policies, AI compliance guidelines, contributor terms, and disclaimers.
• Partner with tech & GTM teams to legally vet external content.

Eligibility

• 6–10 years in startup legal ops, IP coordination, or founder-facing legal roles.
• Comfortable working directly with a CTO/Founder on sensitive, high-speed matters.
• Sharp, discreet, and relentless on accuracy.
• Able to shift seamlessly between patents, contracts, and investor documents.

Salary/Stipend
