Tech Mahindra is hiring for Legal role to join their offices in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- This role involves end-to-end lawyering in the region of responsibility, providing legal advice and advisory support to all functions, and managing pre-litigation, litigation, and dispute resolution processes.
- The candidate will be required to analyze the facts of each case, assess the applicable laws, track the developments at each stage, and strategize with external lawyers to achieve the desired results.
- Regular and timely updates on prelitigation/litigations to management teams will also be a key responsibility. In terms of contracting, the candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and vetting IT, ITES, and technology contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- They should be well-versed in reviewing and negotiating master service agreements, professional service agreements, NDAs, and procurement agreements. Additionally, the candidate should have experience handling government tenders, bid proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and EOIs, as well as contracts with OEMs, service providers, subcontractors – including software licenses, hardware, cloud, SaaS, AI, and staffing.
- The role also involves liaising and making contractual correspondence with clients and internal stakeholders, working on amendments or extensions of contracts, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- The candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the company's interests in contractual matters and identifying and mitigating risks, liabilities, and deviations. Moreover, they will be expected to conceptualize and contribute to process improvements within the legal function.
