Details of the Job/Internship
NxtWave is hiring a Head – Legal & Compliance with 9+ years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s legal, compliance, and governance strategy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, NDAs, SaaS, partnership, and vendor agreements.
- Oversee Company Law and ROC compliance, board meetings, filings, and statutory records.
- Support fundraising through due diligence and documentation, ensuring FEMA and RBI compliance.
- Drive IPO preparedness, including due diligence and SEBI/Companies Act compliance.
- Develop and implement internal policies such as POSH, Whistleblower, and Data Privacy.
- Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and coordination with external counsel.
- Oversee the company’s IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Build and mentor the legal and compliance team and collaborate cross-functionally.
Eligibility
- CS + LL.B. from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in corporate legal, secretarial, and compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, FDI, and contract law.
- Experience in fundraising, due diligence, and IPO readiness.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
