Details of the Job/Internship
Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) is looking for a candidate for the position of Lead - Legal.
Role and Responsibilities
- Devising the strategy for high stake Arbitration and Litigation cases on PAN India basis.
- Preparation of pleadings like claims, counter claims, petitions, applications, written statements/replies, and Notes of arguments, can do legal research and precedents,
- Carrying out pre litigation due diligence to ascertain exposures on financial, reputational , pernsal liability and importantly business continuity.
- Have knowledge of court proceedings including environmental laws, labor laws, contracts, arbitration etc.
- Coordination with advocates.
- In depth understanding of Commercial Contracts for insulating the commercial Risks
- Structuring of the deals , JV , Consortium Agreements with business partners.
- Carrying out due diligence of Bid documents & RFP's to ascertain risk exposures & advising on deviation and/or exposure matrix & mitigation strategies.
- Have knowledge of Financial & tax laws relating to transactions to support financial documentation.
- Coordination with law firms and advise on drafting .
- Meeting and interacting with businesses, understanding of issues and facts.
- Making strategy internally with Legal HOD and Business teams.
Eligibility
- Candidate with LLB from a reputed institution, desired LLM.
- 15 to 20 years relevant experience.
