Gujrat Pesticides Company - GPC is hiring a Legal & Liaisoning Manager with 5–10 years of experience to join their office in Safidon, Jind, Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, MOUs, NDAs, vendor and distributor agreements, and employment bonds.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings including civil, commercial, labour, and contractual disputes.
- Maintain legal compliance and prepare responses to legal notices.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies such as Agriculture Department, Pollution Control Board, Labour Department, Excise, ROC, and FSSAI.
- Handle licenses, renewals, inspections, and audits.
- Ensure compliance for agrochemical and bioproduct registrations including CIBRC, ISO, and organic certifications.
- Support compliance with the Companies Act, Factory Act, GST, MSME, and environmental laws.
- Identify legal risks and assist in drafting company policies.
- Support HR, Purchase, Operations, and Sales teams with legal and compliance requirements.
- Conduct due diligence and legal vetting of vendors, suppliers, and clients.
Eligibility
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed institute.
- 5–10 years of experience in corporate legal and liaisoning roles (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sector).
- Strong knowledge of contract, company, labour, and environmental laws.
- Experience in government liaison and compliance management.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for factory, site, or government visits.
