Details of the Job/Internship
Nitro Commerce is hiring a Legal Manager – Data Privacy & TMT Law Expert with 4–7 years of experience to join its office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy policies, terms of service, and internal procedures.
- Conduct DPIAs and privacy risk assessments for new products and technologies.
- Draft and review DPAs, data transfer agreements, and privacy clauses in contracts.
- Lead responses to data breach incidents and regulatory notifications.
- Deliver privacy training and support internal and external audits.
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts including SaaS, MSAs, and cloud agreements.
- Advise on AI, blockchain, e-commerce, cyber law, and IT Act compliance.
- Develop and manage the company’s intellectual property strategy and portfolio.
- Draft IP clauses including licenses, assignments, and NDAs.
- Support IP enforcement and dispute resolution.
- Manage arbitration strategy, documentation, and coordination with external counsel.
- Ensure strong dispute resolution clauses across commercial contracts.
Eligibility
- 4–7 years of experience in an in-house Data Privacy and TMT legal role.
- Expert knowledge of data protection, technology law, intellectual property, and arbitration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to partner with business, technology, and marketing teams.
