Details of the Job/Internship

Enfinity Global is hiring a Legal Manager – Land Acquisition with experience of 8+ years to manage land-related legal matters for renewable energy projects across South India.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all legal aspects of land acquisition for renewable energy projects across South Indian states.
• Oversee end-to-end legal due diligence, including title verification, encumbrance checks, and compliance reviews.
• Maintain and track land documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with land acquisition teams, aggregators, revenue authorities, and external legal counsel.
• Review and analyze title search reports and legal due diligence reports.
• Scrutinize registered deeds, revenue records, encumbrance certificates, and mutation documents.
• Identify legal risks related to land acquisition and advise on mitigation measures.
• Draft and review MoUs, sale deeds, lease deeds, GPAs, ATS, ATL, and other land-related agreements.
• Ensure proper execution and registration of documents in line with state laws.
• Track mutations, land conversions, and statutory clearances for each land parcel.
• Handle land-related disputes, litigation, and revenue matters with support from external counsel.
• Conduct legal research on land laws, renewable energy policies, government notifications, and zoning regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
• LLM or specialization in Property, Infrastructure, or Environmental Law is preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with 3–5 years in renewable energy or infrastructure land acquisition.
• Experience in handling land legal disputes before courts and forums.
• Strong knowledge of state-specific land laws and renewable energy regulations in South India.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel across project locations in South India.

Salary/Stipend
