Details of the Job/Internship

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager / Senior Legal Counsel with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts including MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs, licensing, and employment contracts.
• Provide legal advisory across departments and conduct legal research.
• Manage all aspects of litigation and coordinate with external counsel.
• Develop and implement compliance frameworks, conduct audits, and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Advise on IP rights and manage the company’s IP portfolio.
• Liaise with internal teams and senior management to communicate legal risks.
• Contribute to the legal team’s knowledge and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare regular legal updates and reports for management.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. is a plus.
• Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 8–10 years of PQE in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and litigation management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian legal frameworks including IP, labor, and contract law.
• Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
