Details of the Job/Internship
AU Small Finance Bank is hiring for multiple positions (Legal Manager and Senior Legal Manager) with experience of 5+ years to join their teams in Indore, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end ongoing and new litigation matters for the bank.
- Handle a diverse portfolio of civil, criminal, labor, consumer, and commercial disputes.
- Draft critical legal documents, including notices, written statements, affidavits, and petitions.
- Coordinate with external advocates to finalize case strategies and attend hearings.
- Maintain a comprehensive litigation calendar and track all hearing updates.
- Ensure organizational compliance with all court orders and legal notices.
- Facilitate dispute resolution through active participation in settlement discussions.
- Support legal risk management by identifying potential vulnerabilities in current litigation.
Eligibility
- LLB degree is mandatory; an LLM is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in banking litigation only.
- Strong exposure to the BFSI sector and legal risk management.
- Proven drafting skills for complex legal pleadings and notices.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in handling high-volume litigation across multiple court forums.
