EYP Creations Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager with 2–3 years of experience to join its office in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to artists, labels, licensing, distribution, partnerships, and endorsements.
- Ensure compliance with entertainment industry legal frameworks and contractual obligations.
- Create, maintain, and update a contract management system and database, both online and offline.
- Follow up with vendors for timely contract closure.
- Advise on copyright, trademark protection, licensing, and rights clearance for music and multimedia content.
- Monitor and address intellectual property infringements, including piracy and unauthorized use.
- Ensure compliance with entertainment, media, labour, and data protection laws.
- Stay updated on legal developments affecting digital streaming, royalties, and content distribution.
- Provide legal guidance on disputes and coordinate with external counsel for litigation and arbitration.
- Identify legal risks and develop internal policies and compliance frameworks.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB or LLM).
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Mandatory experience in the music and entertainment industry.
- Strong knowledge of copyright law, licensing, and digital media regulations.
