Details of the Job/Internship
V-Guard is hiring a Legal Manager with extensive experience in litigation, contract management, IPR, and regulatory compliance to join their team in Kochi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle civil and criminal litigation across courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsels.
- Draft and review pleadings, legal notices, and legal submissions.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, term sheets, and leases.
- Advise on legal risks and ensure contract compliance with laws and policies.
- Manage trademark, copyright, patent, and design matters.
- Monitor competitor filings and oversee IP litigation and enforcement.
- Support M&A due diligence, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across branches, units, and corporate offices.
- Coordinate with authorities for licenses, approvals, and hearings.
- Conduct internal legal training and compliance awareness.
- Assist in corporate governance matters and board documentation.
- Provide legal advisory for business units and support policy development.
