Covering a wide range of products including seeds, agrochemicals, fertilizers, agro-tools, and animal feed, AGRIM is streamlining supply chains and empowering retailers across India. Having already onboarded 10% of the total customer universe, the platform is rapidly scaling and reshaping how agri-inputs are bought and sold in the country.
Details of the Job/Internship
AGRIM is looking to hire a Legal Manager with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their team at the Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Establish standardized contract templates and processes to enhance efficiency while minimizing risk.
- Ensure all agreements align with company objectives and comply with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice on dispute resolution and manage legal escalations when needed.
- Program Management for Compliance Projects
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance-related initiatives and projects across the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provide training to internal teams on compliance best practices and legal risks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); Master’s degree (LL.M) preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in legal advisory roles, preferably with exposure to Agri-inputs, FMCG, or related industries.
- Knowledge of agricultural laws, environmental regulations, and product compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent program management skills with the ability to handle multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to navigate complex legal frameworks and simplify compliance processes for internal teams.
- Proactive and solution-focused approach to managing legal risks.
Salary/Stipend
