Details of the Job/Internship

Virohan Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager (Contract Management) to join their office in Gurugram. The role involves managing legal risks, ensuring compliance, leading a legal team, overseeing contract management, and handling litigation and dispute resolution processes.

Role and Responsibilities

Legal Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across pan-India operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks in collaboration with business units.
• Provide legal advice and support to senior management.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks in the education and healthcare sectors across different countries.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel.

Business Collaboration:

• Work with business leaders to align legal guidance with business goals.
• Facilitate communication between the legal function and other departments for integrated risk management.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of legal professionals.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure timely legal support.
• Encourage continuous professional development within the legal team.

Contract Management:

• Oversee drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage disputes.

Litigation and Dispute Resolution:

• Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes with external counsel.
• Develop strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and minimize legal exposure.

Eligibility

• Prior experience in a similar role at a growth-stage startup managing legal and regulatory risk.
