IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Legal Manager – Debt Management for their Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and undertake the collections process for assigned debts. Regularly track the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
- Track and control delinquency area-wise, bucket-wise, and DPD-wise with a focus on non-starters.
- Allocate and achieve targets from agencies or in-house teams.
- Follow up regularly with default customers.
- Ensure adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
- Trace absconding default customers and initiate recovery processes.
- Recommend legal action for non-recoverable cases and follow up with the legal team for closure.
- Maintain data for administrative work related to collections, update delinquent account history, prepare and maintain MIS reports, and review collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline. Postgraduate degree such as MBA or PGDM preferred. Minimum of 1–6 years of experience in legal roles.
