Details of the Job/Internship

IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Collection Manager – Rural with experience of 4+ years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the debt collection process for assigned cases.
• Track portfolio performance across buckets and DPD levels.
• Control delinquency and focus on non-performing accounts.
• Allocate targets to agencies and in-house teams and ensure achievement.
• Follow up regularly with defaulting customers.
• Ensure compliance with collection processes and legal guidelines.
• Trace absconding customers and initiate recovery actions.
• Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and coordinate with legal teams.
• Maintain MIS reports and update delinquent account records.
• Review collection performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Eligibility

• Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in collections.
