Details of the Job/Internship

Cretum Advisory is hiring for the position of Legal Manager - GST & Customs with 3 years of experience to join their Gurugram office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Should have sound legal and practical knowledge of Indirect Tax Laws (GST, VAT, Customs, Excise, Foreign Trade Policy etc.) and Direct Tax laws with practical knowledge of their technical issues. 
• Should be abreast and updated with the latest Legal Updates and should work in the Business Development by looking out for the opportunities in the present client as well as new clients basis on said updates.
• Should possess good researching skills including but not limited to Research of case laws etc.
• Should have experience in Drafting of appeals, SCNs, Writ Petitions and replies to notices issued under GST, Customs, LMA, etc.
• Should have experience in appearance before various forums such as Jurisdictional GST, Anti Evasion Branches, DGGI and courts etc. 
• Should have experience in Preparation of Transaction and Legal Advisory of the questions raised by clients on various restructurings and transactions. 
• Preparation of legal and practical updates having the impact of client's business.
• Should be able to work with the Partner and Compliance team to understand the legal issues being faced by the firm. 
• Should be good learner to understand the business of the client and work towards the practical solution for the client instead of theoretical solution.
• Should have experience in classification related matters (Both GST and Customs). 
• Should have good relationship management skills with Clients.
