Details of the Job/Internship

Cretum Advisory is hiring a Legal Manager – Indirect Tax with over 5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise clients on indirect and direct tax issues and transaction structuring.
• Conduct legal research and draft appeals, writ petitions, SCNs, and replies.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and courts.
• Identify business development opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and share relevant legal updates.
• Collaborate with compliance teams and partners to resolve client issues.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB (Law Degree); certifications in tax laws are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in indirect tax laws including GST, VAT, Customs, Excise, and Direct Tax.
• Skills: Strong research, drafting, litigation, and client relationship management skills.
