Details of the Job/Internship

Cretum Advisory is hiring a Legal Manager- Indirect Tax with 1 year of experience to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage complete GST compliance for clients, including return filings, reconciliations, and adherence to statutory timelines.
• Handle GST registrations, refunds, and resolution of notices, summons, and departmental queries.
• Lead and execute GST audits, prepare detailed audit reports, and conduct periodic compliance reviews.
• Represent clients before GST authorities in litigation matters—drafting replies, preparing submissions, and attending hearings.
• Provide strategic advisory on complex indirect tax issues and transaction structuring from a GST perspective.
• Conduct on-site client visits to evaluate compliance and implement tailored tax solutions.
• Track regulatory developments in GST and indirect taxation; circulate timely legal updates to internal teams and clients.

Eligibility

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a specialization in Indirect Taxation.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in GST compliance, litigation, and advisory.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, rules, and procedural frameworks.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Effective communication and client management abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client assignments, as required.

Salary/Stipend
