Details of the Job/Internship

Cretum Advisory is hiring a Legal Manager – Indirect Tax with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on indirect and direct tax matters and assist with tax-efficient transaction structuring.
• Conduct legal research and draft appeals, writ petitions, SCNs, and replies to tax authorities.
• Represent clients before tax authorities and courts.
• Identify business development opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with compliance teams and partners for holistic client solutions.

Eligibility

• LLB (Law Degree).
• 5+ years of experience in indirect tax law including GST, VAT, Customs, Excise, and Direct Tax.
• Certifications in tax laws such as GST are a plus.
• Strong research, drafting, litigation, and client management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
