Details of the Job/Internship
Polycab India Limited is hiring a Legal Manager (Land & Real Estate) who has 10 years of experience in the legal field and is a qualified LLB to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- liaising with internal stakeholders to collate data, documents, and information;
- undertake preliminary title check;
- liaise with external lawyers, stamp agents, and registrar for undertaking title diligence;
- reviewing and finalizing documentation of conveyancing, lease, license, settlement, MOUs, term sheets, AFS, and ATS;
- stamp duty advisory;
- liaising for stamp duty payment and registration;
- drafting and finalizing internal leases/ leave & license for office spaces and warehouse;
- advise and work with external lawyers on real estate litigation matters;
- coordinate with external lawyers for responding to any notices from any land revenue authorities, stamp duty authorities, or collector offices; maintain MIS and status of each matter and land application;
- legal advisory;
- drafting and reviewing/working along with litigation experts for real estate litigation.
- review of agreements from a real estate perspective.
