Details of the Job/Internship

Indigo Group is hiring a Legal Manager – Litigation, Civil & Corporate with more than 8 years of experience to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle civil and commercial litigation cases in various courts and tribunals across India.
• Draft legal notices, petitions, and affidavits, and represent the company in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with external legal counsels and manage all court procedures.
• Draft, review, and vet legal agreements including Corporate, Vendor, Investment, and Employment Contracts.
• Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent registrations and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations and provide legal advice on RBI guidelines and FDI-related transactions.
• Draft and review real estate agreements and handle related disputes in compliance with Indian real estate laws.
• Handle consumer protection cases under MRTP, PFA, and other relevant laws.
• Advise on structuring onshore and offshore transactions in compliance with Indian and international regulations.
• Implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to Indian laws and monitor regulatory updates.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities such as SEBI, RBI, FDI, and coordinate with legal advisors and tax professionals.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience in Indian law, specializing in corporate, civil, and intellectual property law.
• Proficient in Hindi and English.
