Details of the Job/Internship

Indigo Group is hiring a Legal Manager with more than 8 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle civil and commercial litigation cases across India.
• Draft legal notices, petitions, affidavits, and represent the company in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with external legal counsels and manage court procedures.
• Draft, review, and vet corporate, vendor, investment, and employment agreements.
• Provide legal counsel during negotiations to protect the company’s legal interests.
• Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark and patent registrations.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, securities laws, FDI policies, and RBI guidelines.
• Draft and review real estate agreements and handle property-related disputes.
• Handle consumer protection cases and advise on consumer rights and liabilities.
• Provide legal counsel on onshore and offshore transaction structuring.
• Implement compliance programmes and monitor regulatory changes.
• Liaise with SEBI, RBI, FDI, and other government authorities.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors, tax professionals, and regulatory authorities.

Eligibility

• Extensive knowledge of Indian corporate, civil, and commercial law.
• Experience handling intellectual property matters under Indian laws.
• Familiarity with SEBI regulations and capital markets in India.
• Strong understanding of Indian real estate and consumer protection laws.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of legal experience in Indian law.
