Details of the Job/Internship
Indigo Group is hiring a Legal Manager with more than 8 years of experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle civil and commercial litigation cases across courts and tribunals in India.
- Draft legal notices, petitions, affidavits, and represent the company in proceedings.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and manage litigation processes.
- Draft, review, and vet corporate, vendor, investment, and employment agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Indian corporate and commercial laws.
- Manage intellectual property matters, including trademarks and patents.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, RBI, and FDI regulations.
- Draft and review real estate agreements and handle property disputes.
- Handle consumer protection cases and advise on related laws.
- Provide legal advice on onshore and offshore transaction structuring.
- Implement compliance programs and monitor regulatory changes.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and government authorities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Indian corporate, civil, and IP law.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI, RBI, FDI, and real estate laws.
- Experience in litigation management and contract drafting.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
