Details of the Job/Internship

Salarite is hiring for the position of Legal Manager - Non litigation to join their office in Coimbatore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and review agreements including loan agreements, sanction letters, mortgage deeds, hypothecation deeds, NDAs, and other business contracts.
• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and internal legal policies.
• Maintain centralized records of executed agreements and monitor renewals.
• Conduct legal due diligence on borrowers, vendors, and collateral properties.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in lending, leasing, and investment transactions.
• Verify title documents, encumbrance certificates, and related securities documentation.
• Coordinate with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and drafting support.
• Liaise with sub-registrar offices, government bodies, and regulatory authorities for compliance and documentation.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and provide legal status updates to management.

Eligibility

• LLB with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in the BFSI domain with hands-on experience in:
  • Property title report drafting
  • Legal opinion writing
  • Document vetting and verification
  • Legal due diligence & audits
  • Non-litigation profile

Salary/Stipend
