Details of the Job/Internship
Fincity is hiring a Legal Manager – Real Estate to join its on-site team in Bengaluru North. The role involves leading the overall legal function of the firm, including contracts, disputes, land transactions, and customer agreements related to the real estate sector.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the overall legal function, including contracts, disputes, land transactions, and customer agreements.
- Draft and review commercial agreements and deeds related to the real estate sector.
- Draft memoranda of understanding, joint development agreements, agreements of sale, sale deeds, powers of attorney, procurement agreements, and other land acquisition and real estate finance and sales documents.
- Handle legal matters relating to contracts, employment, and intellectual property.
- Manage litigation matters with a focus on effective resolution.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in legislative law.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Conversant and fluent in the Kannada language.
- Good knowledge of title diligence and risks relating to immovable properties.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate laws and applicable Acts.
- Experience in initiating, defending, and managing litigation.
- Ability to handle both litigation and non-litigation matters.
