Details of the Job/Internship
Sammy’s Dreamland Co. Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Legal Associate – Litigation Specialist with 7-12+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with departments & landowners to collect property documents and details.
- Review, compile, and identify further documentation requirements for management analysis.
- Draft and vet legal documents including title flows, title opinions, MOUs, Joint Development Agreements, Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell/Build, replies to notices, complaints, and public notices.
- Liaise with landowners & accounts team to reconcile and settle payments across project stages.
- Collaborate with liaison department to secure revenue documents (RTCs, ECs, etc.), including RTI applications when necessary.
- Maintain control sheets for court matters, draft & file pleadings, represent the company before civil/criminal/revenue authorities and police.
- Track pending cases with external advocates, maintain court diary, and obtain judgment/order/decree copies.
- Maintain land bank and project-wise legal documentation, and prepare statements for new acquisitions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) (mandatory); LLM in Business Law/related field preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience in the real estate industry.
- Strong expertise in litigation, property law, and real estate documentation.
- Proficiency in Kannada (reading) is essential.
