URVA Consulting is hiring for the position of legal manager with 10-15 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Title Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for properties to be acquired by the company, ensuring clear titles and compliance with local regulations.
• Document Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including Memorandums of Understanding, Joint Development Agreements, Agreements of Sale, Sale Deeds, and Powers of Attorney.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations, including zoning laws and property tax issues.
• Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice on property-related matters, including land acquisitions, leases, contracts, and other related issues.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks in real estate transactions and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
• Litigation Management: Handle legal disputes, litigation, and arbitration related to real estate matters, coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as project management and finance, as well as external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, legal consultants, and government authorities.

Eligibility

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on title due diligence in the Bengaluru market.
• Proven experience working within a real estate firm or in a role extensively involving real estate transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary/Stipend
