Details of the Job/Internship
Zuari Global Trading LLP is hiring for th position of Legal Manager Real Estate with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Goa.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements such as lease deeds, sale deeds, joint development agreements, and related property contracts.
- Conduct legal due diligence for land and property acquisitions, as well as development projects.
- Ensure compliance with RERA and other applicable real estate regulations.
- Handle title verification, land acquisition matters, encroachment issues, and property-related litigation.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel as required.
- Monitor regulatory developments and recommend policy or procedural changes.
- Identify and mitigate potential legal risks in transactions.
- Conduct audits of property-related legal documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, finance) to ensure legal alignment across functions.
- Engage with government authorities, consultants, and external advisors for property-related legal matters.
- Support the Director and management team with any additional legal requirements as assigned.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory; Master’s in Law (LLM) preferred.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in real estate law, gained through a corporate legal department or reputed law firm.
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, RERA, land acquisition procedures, and property regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, vetting, and negotiating legal documents.
- Hands-on experience in title verification and registration processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within tight deadlines.
- Bar Council membership is an advantage.
- Only local candidates from Goa will be considered.
Salary/Stipend
₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum
