Details of the Job/Internship

HCLTech is hiring for the position of Legal Manager - Vendor Contract with 9-12 years of experience to join their office in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently draft, review, and negotiate a variety of procurement/vendor agreements including:
• Master Services Agreements (MSAs)
• Statements of Work (SOWs)
• Amendments and change notes
• Reseller, referral, teaming, rainmaker, end-user license, and evaluation/POC agreements
• Provide legal guidance and risk assessment to procurement, delivery, and business teams to ensure alignment with internal policies and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, operations, sales, and delivery teams for the smooth closure of contracts.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the legal team to ensure consistency and compliance in contract terms.
• Track and report on contracts handled during the month; prepare monthly reports on incoming and closed transactions.
• Support contract lifecycle management and maintain organized contract records.
• Perform other legal and corporate functions as assigned.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or higher degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Must be a licensed attorney, authorized to practice law in India.
• 9–12 years of post-qualification legal experience with a focus on procurement and vendor contracts.
• Prior experience supporting sales teams in the high-tech or outsourcing industries is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of legal concepts relevant to commercial transactions and contracting best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to support U.S.-based teams and clients during U.S. business hours.
