Details of the Job/Internship

Liminal Custody is hiring a Manager – Legal with experience of 5 to 8 years to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including technology-related agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
• Advise internal teams on legal risks and mitigation strategies for new initiatives and digital asset products.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution by liaising with external counsels and preparing necessary documentation.
• Ensure company operations comply with applicable fintech and digital asset laws and licensing requirements.
• Support corporate governance through board resolutions, statutory filings, and periodic policy reviews.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments in crypto and financial services to provide strategic compliance guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Finance, and Risk teams to ensure alignment with legal frameworks.

Eligibility

• LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
• 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in legal roles.
• Preferred experience within Fintech, Payments, or Digital Asset companies.
• Strong understanding of contract law and financial regulations.
• Experience handling international regulatory authorities (e.g., VARA, MAS, or FIU) is an advantage.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
