Details of the Job/Internship
Nitro Commerce is hiring a Legal Manager with 4–7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and implement data privacy policies and internal procedures.
- Conduct DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, and ensure privacy by design.
- Draft and review DPAs, data transfer agreements, and privacy clauses in contracts.
- Manage data breach response, notifications, training, and compliance audits.
- Advise on TMT regulations, IT Act compliance, online advertising, and intermediary liability.
- Draft and negotiate technology contracts including MSAs, SaaS, licensing, and vendor agreements.
- Develop and manage the company’s IP strategy and IP portfolio.
- Handle IP protection, enforcement, and litigation support.
- Manage arbitration and commercial dispute resolution strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for legal risk mitigation.
Eligibility
- LL.B., LL.M., or Master’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 4–7 years of in-house experience in data privacy and TMT law.
- Strong understanding of technology, digital, and regulatory frameworks in India.
