Details of the Job/Internship
Saint-Gobain India Private Limited – Glass Business is hiring a Legal Manager with 8–10 years of experience to join their office in Egmore, Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on a range of issues, including brand protection.
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Liaise and maintain relationships with external lawyers and counsels.
- Manage and oversee litigations.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory developments.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (5-year program).
- 8–10 years of experience in a corporate legal environment; courtroom experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, consumer law, recovery matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of Intellectual Property Rights; excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research and document management tools; detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of multitasking.
