AGRIM is hiring a Legal Manager in Gurugram, Haryana, with 2-3 years of experience in a legal advisory role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing Agri-Input Compliance Framework
- Ensure compliance with all applicable agricultural, environmental, and trade laws related to agri-inputs.
- Monitor and interpret evolving regulations in the agri-inputs sector to keep the organization updated on legal changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) to align business processes with regulatory requirements.
- Handle product registrations, licensing, and other legal filings specific to agri-inputs compliance.
- Legal Agreement Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.
- Establish standardized contract templates and processes to enhance efficiency while minimizing risk.
- Ensure all agreements align with company objectives and comply with applicable laws and industry standards.
- Provide expert advice on dispute resolution and manage legal escalations when needed.
- Program Management for Compliance Projects
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance-related initiatives and projects across the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provide training to internal teams on compliance best practices and legal risks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); Master’s degree (LL.M) preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in legal advisory roles, preferably with exposure to Agri-inputs, FMCG, or related industries.
- Knowledge of agricultural laws, environmental regulations, and product compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent program management skills with the ability to handle multiple compliance initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
