Details of the Job/Internship
Airtel is hiring for the role of Legal Manager with the post qualification experience of 6 to 8 years. This is a on-site job opportunity based in Gurugram. The incumbent will Collaborate with the sales team and government agencies to exchange information, provide requested documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling fraud-related complaints from law enforcement agencies.
- Receive, review, and assess incoming criminal/police complaints from various sources, such as law enforcement agencies, victims, and witnesses.
- Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence, analyze facts, and assess the viability of criminal complaints.
- Prepare and file criminal complaints, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements.
- Collaborate with legal teams and prosecutors to build strong cases and support effective prosecution efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all criminal complaints, case progress, and relevant documentation.
- Represent the organization in court proceedings (if need be) to defend against criminal complaints/ police complaints.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop defense strategies and arguments.
- Prepare legal documents, such as complaints, pleadings, and briefs, to support the defense.
- Represent the organization in court to present evidence on its behalf in ploce-related matters.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for government agencies, including law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and other relevant departments.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between the organization and government agencies regarding criminal / police complaints, investigations, and legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with sales team and government agencies to exchange information, provide requested documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the first line (sales and sales governance teams) and government agency representatives.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions related to criminal complaints, law enforcement practices, and legal updates.
Eligibility
- Graduation in Law.
- 6-8 years of experience - 5 years of functional experience.
