Details of the Job/Internship
ALYF is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 2+ years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and finalize transaction documents including Sale Deeds, Land Agreements, Construction Contracts, etc.
- Lead and participate in negotiations related to land acquisitions, mergers, and financing arrangements.
- Oversee the entire documentation lifecycle, from drafting to registration.
- Collaborate with external advocates, landowners, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive title due diligence and flag potential risks.
- Prepare and respond to legal notices, pleadings, and litigation documents.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure legal compliance across operations.
- Advise the leadership team on FDI regulations in the real estate sector.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate and corporate legal roles.
- Proficiency in title verification, RERA regulations, and legal research.
- Strong understanding of joint ventures, customer agreements, litigation management, and contract negotiations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, commercial judgment, and communication skills.
