ALYF is hiring a Legal Assistant Manager / Legal Manager with over 4 years of post-qualification experience to join its Chembur, Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize commercial agreements, MOUs, contracts, and internal policy documents.
- Prepare legal notices, letters, and communications for internal and external purposes.
- Provide legal advice on company law, corporate structuring, and statutory compliance.
- Support management in compliance with the Companies Act, LLP Act, and other regulations.
- Advise business teams on legal implications of commercial decisions and identify risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, commercial, labor, and real estate laws.
- Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and statutory authorities.
- Collaborate with finance, HR, operations, and business teams to ensure legal safeguards.
- Conduct legal due diligence for new business initiatives or partnerships.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent law degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in non-litigation work, legal drafting, and company law advisory.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in startup, real estate, or proptech sectors preferred.
