Anand Rathi Insurance brokers (ARIBL) is hiring for the position of Legal Manager with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of GPA claim grievances, legal escalations, and complex claim cases.
- Represent and support Insurance Ombudsman matters in coordination with insurers.
- Analyze claim documents for policy coverage, legal risks, and compliance with insurance regulations.
- Liaise with insurers, TPAs, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely resolution of claim disputes.
- Draft legal responses, settlement offers, and case summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and respond to complaints received via IRDAI portals, client grievance platforms, and legal notices.
- Maintain accurate records for legal, compliance, and audit purposes.
- Conduct trend analysis and generate reports to identify issues, support process improvements, and mitigate future disputes.
- Ensure all actions are aligned with IRDAI guidelines, insurance law, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Eligibility
- Education: LLB/LLM (specialization in Insurance Law is preferred).
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience handling GPA or Health Insurance claims and grievance management.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance law, claim processes, policy wordings, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with Insurance Ombudsman procedures, consumer dispute forums, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and insurance claims management systems.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and legal integrity.
