Details of the Job/Internship
AU Small Finance Bank is hiring a Manager Legal CAC with 3–4 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all litigation matters initiated by or filed against the bank.
- Suggest appropriate legal actions tailored to specific geographies to ensure rapid case resolution.
- Partner with the Collections team to resolve long-standing or "chronic" default cases.
- Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain comprehensive MIS (Management Information Systems) and provide regular legal reports to senior management.
- Monitor the progress of legal proceedings and ensure timely intervention where necessary.
- Ensure all legal strategies align with the bank's risk management and compliance policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is mandatory.
- 3–4 years of professional experience in legal roles, preferably within the banking or NBFC sector.
- Proven experience in handling litigation and managing legal notices.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team handling.
- Proficiency in MIS, reporting tools, and legal documentation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to drive faster legal resolutions.
