Details of the Job/Internship
Avighna India is hiring a Legal Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law to oversee and manage all legal matters related to the organization’s real estate projects.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on contracts, agreements, leasing, zoning, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate-related contracts.
- Handle disputes, litigation, arbitration, and coordinate with external counsel.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws.
- Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct legal due diligence and report findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate legal concepts clearly.
- Maintain accurate legal documentation and ensure proper record keeping.
Eligibility
- L.L.B. degree from a recognized Indian law school.
- Enrolled Advocate with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian real estate law.
- Experience in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing real estate contracts and due diligence.
- Knowledge of Indian real estate laws and dispute resolution methods.
- Fluency in English and regional languages.
- Strong legal research and communication skills.
